Getting Settled In...

Our girl looking a little tired today... we all are :-)
Check out the jolly roger shirt that Suzie and Jill found for our girl. She looks fab huh! I finally found some pants to fit her today too, she is wearing 3-6 month old pants. They are the only ones short enough so she doesn't trip over them. Joanne found some of Ava's old pants in that size too, so hopefully we'll grow some soon so we have a better selection. Most of our clothes are in bigger sizes.

We're all getting settled in here. Scarlett hasn't been sleeping that great, she is up between 11 and 3 am every day so far. It is really fun... Today I didn't let her sleep much for naps and she was very cranky all day long. I am hoping that she'll sleep a little more through the night.
We are also not eating as great as we were... I am going to ask the doctor tomorrow what she thinks we should do.
She does really love the giant baby entertainment center that Dave and Megan sent. It plays music and does all kinds of neat-o stuff. I'll try and get a photo of her playing with it and post it.
She is still pretty slow to warm up to folks. She had some smiles for my sister today after she spent about 4 hours with us today and several hours over the last couple days. I guess what I am saying is that when you visit be prepared for a shy little one. Not only is in a different country with strange people (us)... she is also at the that one year old stage where stranger anxiety is a really big deal.

I don't see how it's possible, but she just grows cuter and cuter. Here's to a peaceful night...eventually! Love the shirt...arrrrg!--xo, deerheadgal
