Well I can't believe that we have been home with Scarlett for 5 whole months. She is growing and changing every day it seems. Her latest antic is 'uh oh' when she drops her cup or a book, she says it. She also knows all her body parts... we play the where are your eyes, nose, toes, tummy, hands, toes game all the time and she will point to everything. I particularly enjoy asking her where her 'chompers' are and she will touch her teeth.
She has been going through another spell of not sleeping so great. Earlier this week, I thought I wouldn't make it through! Andy was really sick and she was getting up almost every hour. I laid on the floor in her room one night for a few hours, because every time I left she would freak out.
I took her to the doctor yesterday b/c she was pulling on her ears and having lots of snot, but the doctor said she is getting 4 molars. 2 are have almost erupted and 2 more are very close to. She also said that Scarlett is the classic age for separation anxiety to be very intense and that could be part of the sleeping challenge too. Last night she slept for about 5 hours straight, so that is a victory in my book.
Well I am going to go to bed now so I can sleep while she sleeps.
