I am so excited!! Since before Andy and I got married I have been pinning to go to Disney... I love everything Disney, Mickey, Minnie, the princesses, the music, the fireworks, of course the rides! It is going to be so much fun! He of course has been giving me the... "I've already been there" routine. Joanne and I made an agreement when she was accepted into the nursing program at Linfield that once she graduated we would go to Disney! Originally we were thinking Disneyland, but Andy liked DisneyWorld better, so we decided to do that instead.
Yes we are going in June. A bunch of people have already lectured me on how awful that will be, June is hot... June is crowded... the weather is iffy. WHATEVER! It is still Disney, the happiest place on EARTH! Attitude is everything and we are excited and ready to go. We will have fun no matter what, because after all Mickey Mouse lives there.
I have been planning for months, and we are going to spend a couple of days in the Magic Kingdom (Cinderalla's castle, tea cups, pirates, Dumbo, peter pan etc.), a couple of days at Epcot, a day or 2 at Animal Kingdom, depending on how much we like it, a day or two at Disney Hollywood Studios. We have reservations at some fun places to eat like the Sci-fi Cafe and breakfast with Lilo and Stitch and of course lunch with the princesses (Andy's skipping that one :-) We are planning on seeing Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios (it is supposed to be VERY cool) and then also Illuminations at Epcot. Of course we are also planning on spending some fun time by the pool. We are staying at the fabulous Saratoga Springs Resort, right at Disney World. How cool is that!
So I'll try and post lots of photos from DW. I am trying to sell my stroller and if I do, then I'm going to buy a flip video camera before we leave and then I can post cool video. We'll see how that goes.
