Scarlett and our friend Becca.

Getting ready for bedtime.

Check out that Buddha belly!!
Not the same as the US. Shopping here is overwhelming, but we were successful and got formula and a stroller to pack chunky monkey around. I think he might weight around 35lbs. I'm not kidding. Miss Scarlett is around 25 and is so light in comparison.
Today was a free day... no paperwork. So we went to the park and then to Walmart. Things are going pretty well. Liam is liking me a bit more. I have been playing with him and making him giggle. I also have been successful getting him to sleep. But he's still Daddy's guy. He stands outside the bathroom door when Andrew is in there and crys. He's a great eater... loves noodles and dumplings and pizza and and and... I don't think we'll have to worry about getting enough in him. We had another horrid diaper today so I'm hoping his little system gets back on track soon. He crys a lot when we have to scrub him down in the tub.
Scarlett is doing great. She was upset that we put Liam in "HER" stroller on the hike to Walmart, but recovered pretty quickly with a bride of M&Ms. M&Ms taste like home!!
Everyone was feeling rather homesick today. Andrew said, "I just want to go home!!" And Scarlett then said "why can't we just go to our house" when we were getting ready for nap time. It's hard living in a hotel room. She's a trooper but it's still hard. We're looking forward to our next room in Guangzhou that is a suite... MORE room wahooo!!
Grandma and Papa are joining us soon in Guangzhou. They'll meet us on Sunday so we're excited to see them and to have them help us carry around all our junk!! :-)Our room likes a bomb went off in it. Toys and shoes and strollers and the crib. It's tight.
Tomorrow we're heading to the Sholin temple: http://www.shaolin-wushu.de/en/main_fr.htm?home_fr0.htm
Almost all the families are going so that'll be fun. We're traveling with some really nice folks. Plus we can take the bus there. I always think bigger is better in China.
Well I should go. I think Liam will be waking up from his nap soon and we have to figure out where we're eating dinner tonight. Always a challenge...
Miss you all. Please email when you have a chance. We miss you and it makes us feel a little less homesick to hear from you!
Love,
Maryanne

Hope you are all having a wonderful time! I'm sure it's hard to be away from home, but you'll be back here very soon! Give those kiddos a big hug from me!
