Ru Ru Reunion

We hosted the 2nd annual Ru Ru reunion this year at the beautiful Oregon coast. All three families had a wonderful time. We were lucky enough to get a really wonderful and talented young photographer, Kelly Searle to come down and take some shots. I think you'll find her style totally wonderful and lovely. They remind me of photos taken in the past before eveything was about how many megapixels. Her shots are genuine and heart felt and really take me back to the cool summer morning with the herd of children running about.

I love this one... friends forever!!

Scarlett and I traveled to Breckenridge Colorado this weekend to have our first ever Ru Ru Sister reunion. We call the girls she was adopted with from Ankang her Ru Ru Sisters. There are 3 families that all that 2-15-06 LIDs and we all got our referrals from CCAI at the same time. Both families, Heidi and Jon and Barry and Michael live in Colorado so it was easier for Scarlett and I to travel there for our first reunion. Chloe and Cali are so cute and such sweet girls and Chloe's big brother Henry is a total charmer and wonderful all the girls. He's the honorary 'big brother'.

Heidi and Jon arranged for a beautiful condo in Breckenridge. We had beautiful weather and the girls and Henry played together very well. You know Scarlett is a shy girl, but by the end of the weekend she was running around with the other girls having a fun time.

Disney...really is the happiest place on earth!!

Sorry gang. I know you have been waiting on us to post, but we have been soooo busy and then the only internet connection is in our room next to where Scarlett sleeps so we couldn't do it at night.

Highlights:

Scarlett LOVES dumbo!! Whenever we pass it she points and has actually said dumbo.

We got a winnie the pooh that is her new baby and she smooches it all the time.

Ava's birthday... everything was fabulous, bibbity bobbity boutique. Lunch with the princesses was amazing!! She has told us several days in a row that 'today was the best day of my life'. That is totally why we are here!!

So the weather... it is hot, but today was nicer. It cooled off and we had a really fun day at Epcot. So far magic kingdom is my favorite. Animal Kingdom, my least. We are going to try it again to see some of the safari stuff and ride kali river rapids, that should be neat-0. We also really loved Hollywood studios, it has neat roller coasters, tower of terror and toy story.
