Not much going on...

I think she has such a sweet little smile here. She was wearing the super beautiful little dress daddy bought her at the Denver airport on the way home from DW.

Watch out she has a flower and knows how to use it!
Smily girl!
I believe this photo captures how Scarlett felt about getting her photos taken. We had a few smiles but she was ready to get out of there... Aren't we done already... seriously!!

We went and saw Lori last week and got some photos taken. I can't say it was 'fun' but we did get some good photos so I guess that is what really counts. Lori is awesome!!

I haven't posted in a while. We have been slugging along. Andy has been working a lot of weekends and long hours during the week. Tonight we took him dinner so we could spend a few minutes with him.
Scarlett is talking more and more. She knows a bunch more signs now and we are watching the farm signing DVD to get ready for the state fair. So far she has chicken and duck down pretty good and she recognizes a bunch of the other ones. We went to the library last Saturday and checked out some fun farm books and the signing DVD, that was fun.
Joanne is still looking for a nursing job and I am really wishing that she would find one. It is a total bummer to go to school for that long and not be able to find work. No one can ever believe that it is hard to find a nursing job. They all say but they are always in demand... yeah but not new grad positions, and with the Portland area graduating a ton of nurses every summer... who knows.
I am sure something will come up soon. My fingers are crossed.
Ava is doing great. Getting ready for the 1st grade. I can't believe how time has flown by with her and what a big girl she is now. We went school clothes shopping with her a couple of weekends ago and I kept thinking just the other day she was a tiny baby with little chicken legs. Now she is so grown up... Everyone says how fast time kids grow up and it is totally true. Both girls are changing and growing so fast. It is wonderful and sad at the same time. We were at a BBQ at Grandma Janie's the other night and Aunt Sue was talking about when we were little. How it seems like it was just the other day... and now we have babies of our own.
It was really neat watching the new generation of cousins play. Sean and Alicia's sweet girls Mia and Elli were over and all the girls were playing and having a blast in the backyard. It brought back a lot of great memories of playing with my cousins at my grandma's house. I am glad we live around here so Scarlett can grow up with her family close by.
